Festival of Nature 2008
The only event of its type in the UK, the Festival of Nature provides a unique opportunity to explore, enjoy and get close to the natural world. There will be a variety of hands-on activities suitable for all ages and an exciting programme of talks, screenings, workshops, boat tours and much more.
Visitors will be able to meet BBC presenters and learn what goes on behind the scenes of award-winning natural history films, help build a wetland in the centre of Bristol and investigate nature in the Discover! tent. The Festival Market also offers an opportunity to sample healthy and tasty food and buy eco-friendly products.
The Festival takes place on the Harbourside from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 7 June and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday 8 June 2008. Entrance is free, although there is a small charge for some activities. For more information and to download the Festival programme please visit www.festivalofnature.org.
